During the Pandemic in 2020, I had the opportunity to experience Fishing for Arctic Char, on the World-famous Tree River in Nunavut, during a Special NWT Residents only Staycation Fly-in Opportunity.

Growing up in Southern Ontario, I learned how to fish chasing migratory Trout and Salmon, along the tributaries of Lake Ontario. Arctic Char, are the most prestigious of all migratory fish and on this episode, I set out with a good friend, on a last-minute overnight fly-in, Self-Guided back pack fishing adventure, in search of the holy grail of Char, in full spawning colors, while surviving a night on the Barren Lands in the pouring rain, in a tiny little tent, with the Grizzly Bears!
